Two Individuals Accused for Jail Killing of Ex-Lostprophets Vocalist Ian Watkins
Two individuals now face murder charges following the incarceration fatality of former Lostprophets singer and found guilty of child sex crimes Ian Watkins.
Samuel Dodsworth, 43, and Rashid Gedel, 25 now face murder accusations and are scheduled to appear in Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, according to law enforcement officials.
Watkins, 48 years old, was undergoing a 29-year incarceration at HMP Wakefield, with a further six years to be served on licence, after pleading guilty to multiple sexual crimes which included the attempted rape of a baby.
Watkins was taken into custody following a narcotics search warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a large number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were confiscated.
